MusicCheck offers a sophisticated approach to music composition that transcends the capabilities of a conventional MIDI controller. Through its innovative Prisma Composer, users can systematically create or modify melodies in a structured three-step process:

1. Define the chords that will underpin your melody.
2. Select an appropriate rhythmic pattern to shape the flow of your composition.
3. Choose specific groups of notes to introduce variation and depth.

This method allows for extensive creative exploration; for instance, with ten chords and six note groups, you can generate up to one million unique combinations. MusicCheck's flexible prism-colored graph provides a visual representation of these options, making it easier for users to navigate their creative possibilities.

Furthermore, users can refine their variations by constraining certain groups to specific chords. The platform supports saving and loading MIDI projects, enabling the extraction of different chords utilizing the Prisma Composer. It also accommodates direct recording from a MIDI keyboard, facilitating the creation of new compositions.

Additionally, MusicCheck features a simulated turntable for dynamic song playback control, including reverse playback options. This portable MIDI studio is compatible with SF2 and DLS SoundFonts, but also comes equipped with an array of built-in instruments, allowing users to start making music immediately.
